Glyol has an MA in Landscaping Design from UCLA.
She received her Doula certification from DONA in 1994. She studied psychology at Antioch University and continued to Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology at Santa Barbara Graduate Institute. Studied at Long Beach University for her Childbirth Education and With Pam England's "Birthing From Within". She also studied HypnoBirthing the "Mongan Method".
